1. Click on Start
2. Now in the search bar write run
3. Now in the input box type regedit and click ok
4. After running the Windows registry, go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Internet Settings
5. In the left half of the window, find the heading "ProxyEnable". As you can see, the default value is 0 (off):
6. Double-click the name and change the value to 1:
7. We see that the value has changed:
8. Close the Registry Editor and reboot. All. You have successfully incorporated the proxy in Windows using the registry.
